Java is arguably the most robust, stable and full-featured development environment available today. Supported by 15 years of continuous investment, it has matured into the language which drives many of the worlds largest mission critical applications. Frontier Solutions works with frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, and development tools like Eclipse, to provide an accelerated development environment. Development in PHP leverages much of the same toolset, with the Zend Framework bringing object oriented programming to the PHP language.
We have used most mainstream development methodologies, but our preference is to work in an Agile environment, with the emphasis on small, short development iterations, and the delivery of working software early and often. We use industrial strength project management and version control to ensure we manage both risk, and software assets, and are constantly updating our toolsets and methodologies in line with industry best practice.
